| WHAT IS GICLÉE?
Many of my paintings displayed may have been sold.
However, all is not lost if you find yourself really liking one.
While there is no argument that the original painting holds more value than a print, there is, thanks to some wonderful technology, a way to own a reproduction printed on canvas
called Giclée. (Gee’clay) Finished with a UV coating its colour is preserved up to 75 years. I use a professional photographer to digitally capture my paintings. These high quality prints on canvas are hard to identify at times if it is a painting or a print. In some ways these are far more versatile than originals. If the original is 8 x10” but you have a spot for a 24 x 30”- you are in luck. You can order just about any size as long as it is proportional. An added
benefit depending on the size is that the price is usually more affordable. And you have the added advantage of requesting a print in any size you want (as long as it is proportional to the original) The price is considerably less than the original itself giving homeowners and businesses an affordable option to display art on that blank wall over the sofa or in the waiting room.
Popular sizes and prices are as follows for any painting you see on the site.
